It has been tested to make sure it works, and is set for a one-way bulb. There is a label on the bottom from Wizard of Odz, which is the company that re-wired the lamp. It originally had a glass shade that set into the top. The UL label is deteriorating, but I can tell that it’s from the 60’s. The Stiffel label is missing, but you can see an outline of where it used to be. The base is 5.5” square. Including the handles, the urn is 9” wide and 5.5” deep. The wood has some light scratching and dings. Most of the dings are dark, so they were in the wood when it was made or put there for effect. The brass has a heavy patina with light signs of use.
