Straits Chinese Nonya Offering Bowl c. 1900:

A celadon ground Straits Chinese offering bowl with a wavy rim imitating a lotus leaf and decorated in enamels with flowers and insects. Four-character red enamel mark inscribed on the base. Length: 27.3 cm. c. 1900.

Two small rim chips and minor fritting. No other damage. The bowl is accompanied by a sturdy fitted oval hardwood stand in good condition (some minor cracks as indicated).

I ship worldwide at cost. Unless otherwise requested, overseas items will be sent by Royal Mail International Signed For or Parcelforce (over 2 kg.) with an estimated delivery time of a week to ten days from date of shipping. Inland items sent by Royal Mail First Class Recorded. All items are bubble-wrapped, economically and carefully packed and- other commitments permitting- I try to ship them within twenty-four hours of receipt of payment.

Customs declarations will be filled out as appropriate. For US customers this means that no import duty will be payable on antique items over 100 years old.
