Vintage cast metal still bank by Rehberger of the Straus National Bank and Trust Company building in Chicago, Illinois. Very detailed silvered metal. The base reads \"STRAUS NATIONAL BANK AND TRUST COMPANY\" on the front & \"STRAUS CORNER CHICAGO\" on the back. The underside has a door with a money slot with a trap & a lock - it is missing the key & is locked. This door reads \"REHBERGER MFG. CO. CHICAGO\". Very good condition with no cracks ordings.Approx. 5-1/4\" tall x 2-1/2\" x 2-3/4\". I believe this is from the late 1920\'s to early 1930\'s.

Construction of the building was completed in 1924. The building is currently called Metropolitan Tower. Through the years it has also been called Continental National Insurance Company & Brittanica Building.
