Was on a 20 tension hook banjo, with the tension hoop hook circle diameter of 11-7/8\" . The finish looks 1930\'s. The rosette and the binding are inlaid. A few surface scratches, no cracks, no idea of what the wood is. The predecessor of Kay musical instruments.
