This sale is for a stunning 18ct gold 0.30ct Old cut diamond solitaire ring.

The Old mine cut diamond weighing approx 0.30ct being 8 claw set into a reeded and scroll worked gallery and shoulders.

The ring has good hallmarks showing it was assayed in Chester but the date letter is rubbed. Owing to the shape and style the ring is certainly Edwardian if not earlier Victorian period.

It would make a stunning Gents Signet ring or ladies ring and is a real talking point and the wearer should feel VERY special having usch a glorious historic piece on their finger.

The ring has a excellent solid weight being 4.35g of 18ct gold and diamond.

The diamond is of excellent quality for an Old cut stone. You do not see many stones with this colour and clarity of this age and cut.

This ring should be worn enjoyed but also viewed as an investment piece as it will only increase in value (something most modern jewellery will simply not do).
