Stunning Bohemian Garnet earrings from the Art Deco Period.Genuine Bohemian (hallmarked) garnet earrings from of the Art Deco period a stylised fan shape. You can see why Bohemian Garnets were sso popular- the majestic pomegranate colour is just so rich and beautiful and sparkles in evening light. These beautiful drop earrings are just under 1 1/2” (3.9cm) long (from the very top of the wire) and have a nine stone Daisy at the top from which the fan hangs. They are set with rose cut or Old European cut Garnets.They are set in Silver Gilt although the majority of gilt has now rubbed. These beautiful earrings are all original and the hooks have secure hooks. I have cleaned these since photographing and as always with these Bohemian Garnet pieces, they have come up fabulous!
In excellent condition with all the original stones intact they would make a fabulous gift and date to around 1930.Size: just over 1 1/2” (3.9cm) long (measured from the top of the hook) width is just under 3/4” at the widest point onthe fan shape (1.7cm)
