A rare & stunning Victorian Period Arts & Crafts 9ct Gold Turquoise & Pearl Necklace, which dates to c1900 and is very much in the style of Murrle Bennett. It may well have been retailed by Liberty of London who weresynonymouswith retailing this style of jewellery, but as the barrel clasp is only marked \'9c\' I cannot say for sure(please see the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
This wonderful antique Necklace, which is approx\' 53cms long & weighs 9.1 grams,is set with three polished oval matrix Turquoise Nugget Gems, which are displayed in beautifully crafted\'Gold Cages\' that have been fashionedwith a \'stepped tree branch\' motif. The Turquoise Gems are suspended from a baton & loop chain, which is decorated with six beautiful Baroque Pearls.
In summary, this is a rare & stunning Arts & Crafts 9ct Gold Turquoise & Pearl Necklace in the style of Murrle Bennett, which dates to c1900. Over -all this fabulous Arts & Crafts Necklace is in great condition with only wear commensurate with age, as shown- it is quite simply sublime.
