A stunning Edwardian 18ct Gold Ring dating to 1901, which is alternately set with Rubies & Diamonds (please study detailed close up photographs, which form an integral part of the ring\'s description).
This wonderful antique ring, which weighs 2.1 grams, has a plain shank leading to carved shoulders with chevron decoration, which perfectly complement thebeautifully ornate Ruby & Diamond set bezel that displays the gems in square & four point star settings.
As you would expect this fine quality antique ring is stamped with a maker\'s mark \'LBS\' and carries a full British Hallmark confirming that the ring is made from solid 18ct Gold and that it was assayed in Chester in 1901.
The ring is sized as a UK Ring Size \'R 1/2\', which equates to a US Ring Size \'9\'; as with almost all antique rings the band is slightly ovalized i.eit is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gaugedepending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring whenworn.Overall it is in great condition, as shown,with only wear commensurate with age and having been a treasured pieceof jewellery.
