A stunning antique Georgian Gold Brooch set with beautifully carved natural Coral dating to c1800,which is in crisp original condition.As is normal for Georgian Jewellery from this period, this Brooch is unmarked but it tests above 9ct Gold(pleasesee the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part ofthe item\'s description
This fabulous Brooch would have been hand crafted by a Georgian Artisan Goldsmith who fashioned it in Gold, and set the Carved Coral into typical claw settings. The Coral sections are beautifully carved and, as shown, they consist of a central rectangularpiecesurrounded by twelve round pieces; all similarly carved.
Commensurate with age this gorgeous Georgian Brooch is in superb condition for a piece of Georgian jewellery that is over 200 years old; it has no chips, cracks ordamage but, as shown, on the reverse there is evidence of soft solder and the gold having been tested. The Brooch has the following dimensions: It is approx\' 30mm long; and approx\' 21mm high; and they are approx\' 6mm deep (not including the pin). This fine quality Georgian Coral Brooch weighs 6.2grams.In summary, this is a stunning antique Georgian Gold Brooch set with beautifully carved natural Coral dating to c1800 - it isquitesimply sublime.
