An absolutely stunning Moser Cobalt Blue tea set circa 1865! This set features a beautiful cobalt blue glass overlaid with heavy gold and jewels - it is simply one of the best examples of Moser that I\'ve seen. The set includes a large teapot (8.5\" tall, 9\" wide), a covered sugar bowl (7.5\" tall, 8\" wide), a creamer (5 1/4\" tall, 5\" wide) and 7 cups &saucers - only 3 shown in the picture, but will include all seven in the sold set. The cups are 2 3/4\" tall, 3 1/2\" wide and the saucers are 5\" in diameter. All pieces, other than 4 saucers are in pristine condition, with no issues. One of the saucers has 3 of the 4 stones missing, 1 has 2 stones missing and 3 have 1 stone missing. The other two have no issues. Each piece - has three to five different colored stones on it - red, gold, green and blue. Amazing detail and exquisite craftsmanship - including hand painted flowers.
Moser quality is well known and this is an absolutely stunning example of fineglassware with ornate decoration. It is clear that this set was not usedmuch if at all - it is a beautiful set!
