Stunning Victorian 18ct Gold Six Stone Diamond Ring c1891UK Ring Size \'S 1/2\', or US Ring Size \'9 1/2\'
A stunning antique Victorian 18ct Gold Ring set with five Diamonds dating to 1891(please see the detailed close-upphotographs provided, which form an integral part of the item\'s description).
This wonderful antique ring weighs 3.0 grams and has a plain band leading to the Diamond set gallery, which is approx\' 6mm wide tapering to approx\' 2.5mm where the shank isthinnestfor the wearer\'s comfort. It is set centrally with four Diamonds (approx\' 3 points each) in a square formation with a further Diamond (approx\' 2 points) set in a eight point star shaped setting to either side. As shown, the ring is stamped with a full British Hallmark confirming that it was assayed in Birmingham in 1891 and that it is made of solid 18ct Gold.
Overall, this fine quality antique ring is in great condition with only wear commensurate with age; as shown the hallmark is still crisp and clear which is indicative of just how little wear this ring has had.
This charming Victorian ringis ready to wear and is sized as a UK Ring Size \'S 1/2\', which equates to a US Ring Size \'9 1/2\'; as with almost all antique rings the band isslightly ovalized i.e it is not perfectly round and it measures slightlydifferently on the gauge depending on how it is positioned, however this willnot affect the ring when worn.
