A rare & stunning Art Deco 9ct Gold Ring set with an oval cabochon-cut Opal, which dates to c1930(please study the detailed close-up photographs provided, which form an integral part of the ring\'s description).
This wonderful vintage ring, which weighs 1.8 grams, has a plain \'D\' shaped shank, which flattens to form elliptical shoulders that form part of the theclaw setting holding a beautiful oval cabochon-cut Opal, which measures approx\' 7mm by 5mm. The Opaldisplaysa fabulous play of colours; although predominantly white it is flecked with subtle greens and good pink fire.
Typical of the period this fine quality vintage Art Deco Ring is simply stamped \'9ct\' inside the shank, confirming that it is made from solid 9ct Gold.Overall this superb Art Deco Ring is in great condition, as shown, with no chips and only wear commensurate with age; typical of claw set gems the Opal is slightly loose in the setting butperfectlysecure & does not require any adjustment. Needless to say, this wonderful ring looks absolutely stunning when worn and is sure to attract many admiring glances.
