Just a remarkable example of pure Art Nouveau. Will delight as the piece has amazingly breath taking naturalistic organic shape and form and has amazing whiplash Art Nouveau Curves. This stunning period piece c. 1890 - 1905 is just a pure example of the Nouveau Period! What is stunning is the shape and form and the mixture of what I believe is white metal or pewter. However the piece is shown off to the very best as it has two compartments for salt and these are in a lovely boat shape. What makes it divine is that the white metal pops as the glass salts are a wonderful Bristol or Cobalt Blue. This has it all, and double table salts are very rare and hard to find especially as this one is period Nouveau makes this a very special piece indeed. Please look at the photographs as this is delightful. The lovely element is that the white metal or pewter is not high shine and this means that the metal elements and design really stand out. This is a large piece and stands 5.75\" x 4.5\" x 3\". A fine period antique in lovely condition there is no damage to the metalware and the Bristol Blue Glass is outstanding. In lovely antique condition. The piece has age but is wonderful and has some signs of age and use. But this is normal in a piece of this age and condition is consummate with a period art nouveau piece that is original. Bound to delight and such a rare example.
