A description is as follows:The classical form cassolettes on tripod base with hoof feet and satyr-head terminal with floral garlands between, standing upon footed granite base with gilt bronze beaded rope band and stepped center with a floret at center holding rod support, the granite lid is domed to one side with a gilt bronze grapevine finial and to opposite side a gilt bronze candle holder with beaded rim and classical design to waisted band.
These stunning pieces were given a sample listing and estimate from Heritage sale for $6-9000. These exquisite pieces would make an incredible addition to any collection and I am starting the sale at a low $2000.
