Size MMade in USASaga Mink and faux Leather with Satin liningThis is a beautiful vintage exceptionally well tailored luxurious SilverCross Saga Mink fur coat.Made to measure inNew Yorkby specialised furrier it is constructed in vertical pelts of supple silver cross,I am advised Sagamink fur withcontrasting strips of what appears to be genuine leather but it is actuallyfaux leather,making it lighter and easy to wear against the rich fur pelts.
The coat is lined with rich scarlet hued satin fabric and has two concealed slanted black velvet lined pockets. It has a gorgeous V shaped leather lined notched collar. The collar is a feature in it\'s own right. Beautifully shaped,it looksamazing worn in different styles as shown in this listing. If worn raised up, there is a lovely button to hold it in placeshowing somecontrasting leather and giving the coat a whole new look. The coat is fastened by four furrier hooks and has adelicate flouncy swing.
There are no shoulder pads. The superb tailoring construction and fur volume create a beautiful shape on the shoulders.As such it is not disproportionate to your body as some fur coats are. The sleeves are three quarter length.This is truly splendid coat that is exceptionally well made, it is rich but not heavy or bulky like some.
Totally flattering with modern lines whilst maintaining that traditional elegant fur couture look and feel.The coat displays little signs of wear for it\'s age with no tearing or bold patches. There is some light yellowingpresentbut it is not prominent and fairly uniformed.
