This is an extremely early NORTH BEACH LEATHER jacket that was handcrafted in Pitiquito Sonora, Mexico. This is Jacket number: 7. Bill Morgan’s North Beach Leather in San Francisco has been defunct since 2002. But, he was the man whose gloriously groovy leather designs once graced the bodies of Jimi Hendricks, Mick Jagger, Janis Joplin, Jerry Garcia, not to mention Jackie Kennedy, O. J. Simpson, Cher and Elvis; to name a few.
