For your inspection and approval, presented here is a Stangl Art Deco Vase in a Sunburst finish. Not many of this particular design are seen, let alone in the \'Sunburst\' finish. Absolutely a gorgeous sight to be seen. The pictures, unfortunately, do not do the 6 1/4\" tall vase justice! The primary color is a Royal/ Cobalt blue on the base, graduating upwards through greens, yellow/gold, and finishing at the top in a mottled orange. The vase, from the base blue up to an inch below the top has an irridescent finish to it; glossy, yet irridized. The top one inch, finished in the mottled orange has a matte finish to it. The base, in the upper left hand corner, is signed \'STANGL\'. Although it has survived approximately 70+ years, it has made it through time with it\'s own bumps and bruises. Please notice, as you view the pictures, that there are a few chips. There is one on the base, though not seen unless you look for it. Another is on a corner, triangular in shape, approximately 3/16\" wide at the base and 3/8\" in length. The last two chips would go unnoticed to the casual observer, and are mentioned for the sake of accuracy. They appear on the upper lip and shoulder of the first step down. All told, this is still a magnificent piece of Stangl pottery, an eyecatcher in a collection, and a wonderful example of Art Deco at it\'s finest execution!
