What a beautiful Bru doll from the Henri Chevrot period. She stands just a little over 20 inches tall. Her pressed bisque head is without any hairlines, or restorations. Pierced ears with replaced earrings, no chips to the earring holes. She has the molded tongue. She is marked Bru Jne 9 as is her bisque shoulderplate. Please enlarge the photos to see the details. Part of her original paper label is still intact. I see a professional restoration to her index and middle finger on her right hand, and a little crack in her wooden leg as shown in the photos. She has a lovely expression with a little smile to her upturned upper lip. Beautiful deep blue paperweight glass eyes. Her very soft mohair wig is a replacement. Her antique undergarments include lace trimmed pantaloons, lace trimmed chemise, and lace trimmed wool petticoat. Her stockings and shoes are also antique and look original to her antique dress.
