This is an authentic Archaic Indian arrowhead Bird pointfrom Livingston Texas. This is is a Steiner serrated arrow point. This one is from a flake. The bird points were used for shooting from bows. My Father George Wolf Collected arrowheads and fossils for over 40 years. All the arrowheads, bird points, and artifacts are from the family collection.

History of my Father George E. Wolf,dad was born 10-01-1935 in Byers, Texashe fought in Korea in the 50\'s at Heart Break Ridge, andmoved to Big Springs, Texas after the warhe married my mother Martha Head. They moved to Houstonand shortly after to Pasadena, Texasin 1970. Dad was a longshoreman on the Houston ship channel until his retirement, he also had a fishing lure business that started in the 70\'sand was a member of the Houston Bass club. Heloved the outdoors and fishing which was thebeginning of the collecting for dad. After shelves of fishing trophies it was just natural for him to start a new collection. As a family we would go to Galveston and camp at the pass. At night dad would gig for flounder and at day would fish for Specks. He would take breaks to walk down the beach with mom and us kids. We started picking up sand dollars and sea shells. Dad ran into a lady that was walking the beach picking up sea shells and fossil shark teeth. She had a little shell shop in Seabrook, Texas sowe would stop by and see what she had and that\'s how it all started. Dad joined the Galveston Shell Club and we would attend meetings once a month. Throughthe club we found out about other places to find shells and fossils so we took a trip to Florida out to the Keys were westopped in Venice Florida and picked up about a thousand little shark teeth washing up on the beach. After that we joined the Clear lake Gem and Mineral club. Then we Joined the Houston Gem and Mineral\'s paleontology Section. Growing up we would spend almost every weekend camping at Lake Summerville, Lake Conroe, LakeLivingston, Lake Georgetown and many more. All the arrowheads thatI\'m offering hereare from my fathers collection. They where found by the whole family either Dad, Mom, my brother George Jr, Sisters Valerie andReena, and my self David. Dad kept the collection free from all modern made points and never bought points from anyone else. He shared his collection with the world by displaying them in local schools, library\'s, and Gem and mineral shows.Dad was a member of the Texas Archeological Society for 35 years.

Now my father is 82 and haveasked me to sale his collection.Every single point I\'m offering is from the Wolf Family collection and is well known in Texas.Dad has over 9,000complete arrowheads and bird points. There is also tools, bone tools, pottery and many other artifacts thatwe collected. To have every point looked at and authenticated would cost more then the collection would be worth. Dad is friends with Several well known people in the field including Greg Perino who sent dad a letter thanking him for letting him use some of dads points in his books. There are letters from Colleges thanking dad forcoming and giving talks to the school,he is alsofriends with Dwayne Rogers and many others. Each point will come with a letter of authenticity stating that it came from the Wolf Family Collection, andthat it was found in the fieldneither isa modern made artifact. Dad would mark most of the points onthe back with a code that he used to let him know what county each point is from. Some of the smaller bird points do not havemarks and some of the cruder made points do not either. Some of the frames he had didn\'t have marks because he would keep all the points together and did not need to mark them.In the pictures above you seehis arrowhead room and several pics of him in the field collecting.
