Fenton is cleaning out the warehouse in preparationfor their upcomingclosure and have pulled out some beauties long not seen. Many of the pieces that they are selling off now came from \"Frank\'s Closet\" or are out of the museum storage room. On my latest trip there, I purchased thislarge vase. This piece wasfrom theFenton museum.The Gift Shop workers couldn\'t tell me much about it aside from it being in the storage area of the museum but I was able to finda similar exampleon page 107 of John Walk\'s Fenton Rarities. The one pictured is French opalescent. This one has a green interior and I am certain that it was a sample piece, one of a kind.It measuresan impressive 12\"high.Itisinwonderful condition-there are no chips or cracks-Simply lovely!! (it needs a cleaning down insidefrom many years of sitting but I will savethat for the lucky winner).
