Up for sale is a truly rare lot! Both a brown box, and a black box version of the New Edition of Monopoly. These games were produced only one year before changing to the \"Parker Trading Game\" dollar sign box. These \"New Edition\" games were only produced in 1936. The black box version is somewhat rare, while the brown box version is very rare. Both games are complete, with boards and utensils. The brown box has two corners that have split and have been taped. The brown board is of good heavy grade with very few flaws. The inside of this board has some fading and scuffing. The black box has two unrepaired split corners with some scuffing and wear. The black board is also of good heavy stock with a faux reptile skin pattern on the outside. There is very little wear and only a little soiling on the inside surface. These games consistantly show up on lists of desirable, yet difficult to find games. Will make a fantastic addition to your collection! Good offerding!
