A beautiful Italian art glass bowl by the Fratelli Toso, Murano, superbly crafted with \'gold dust\' (aventurine) inclusions in a sophisticated controlled radial pattern, a quilted sommerso lattice of aventurine dust with each square containing a bullicante trapped bubble of graduating size, increasing toward the exterior of the bowl, a masterly feat of both artistry and lampwork. Italian mid century modern art glass at its very best.

The undulating biomorphic form graduates from a rim of rich ruby/orange to pale amber in the center, cased on the underside with clear glass trapping sommerso an interior sheet of silver aventurine. Ground & polished pontil base.

Condition:Excellent. No damage or losses. Acceptable and typical minor imperfections of handmade Murano/Venetian glass. No chips, flakes, cracks, restoration or repairs of any kind.
