ITEM DESCRIPTION
Item Description
Up for your consideration is a very fine late 19th C. Chinese Export console table, c. 1890s. The piece is finely hand-crafted & carved from solid mahogany. It features a mirror with an etched Chinese design, and a2\" circular convex inclusion (near the top), than allows you to see what/who isbehind you. The mirrored table features 4 inset reverse-painted panels, and has several drawers. The piece could be considered adressing table also.
The piece measures 66.5\" tall, 35.75\" wide, and 17.75\" wide. It is in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks, losses, or restorations. The top may have been refinished sometime in the past, in is difficult to tell. and if so, matched well. There is some minoraging effects to the mirror.
