Being offered is a Superb Antique 19th C. Hugo Lonitz German Majolica Large 20\" Urn ~ Made In Neuhaldensleben, Germany ~ Model #1564 ~ Impressed Oval Double Fish Mark Used From 1886-1904. The urn is blue and white in color with gold accents and trim. The decor features cherub heads, laurel swags with acorns, ornate handles, ram heads and intricate fine raised detailing. This piece is in amazing condition for it\'s age and has been black lighted for any restorations in which there are none. The urn is in EXCELLENT CONDITION with NO chips, cracks, crazing or restorations with the exception of one small chip to the raised relief (knob) found on the foot (see picture 12). There are no signs of wear except for a tiny spec of paint / glaze loss on the chin of one cherub and two tiny specs of paint / glaze loss on the cheek of the other cherub (see pictures 3,8). There is little loss of gold. The urn stands 20\" tall, 15\" in length handle to handle. Please note that these photos were taken outside in the natural light so any color variations you may notice are due to that fact, any imperfections will be duly noted in the description.
