SUPERB LARGE ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN GOLDEN OAK PICTURE FRAME.*R = Rebate. Measuring approximately 37cms by 30cms with a rebate size (for your image) of 29cms by 23cms. This is a superb medium sized thickset antique Edwardian picture frame, dating at a guess to about 1910. It has a lovely smooth tactile border with a raised edging & curve to the sight edge. It is a nice dark grain border & comes with the original gilt slip. Constructed by hand it has a real \'Arts & Crafts\' appeal. This is a superbly made frame that will last for many years to come & will really suit a special picture.Condition: In excellent condition, all joints solid - age commensurate wear, no major damages. SUPERB THICKSET ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN OAK PICTURE FRAME.
*R = Rebate.

Measuring approximately 37cms by 30cms with a rebate size (for your image) of 29cms by 23cms.

This is a superb medium sized thickset antique Edwardian picture frame, dating at a guess to about 1910. It has a lovely smooth tactile border with a raised edging & curve to the sight edge. It is a nice dark grain border & comes with the original gilt slip. Constructed by hand it has a real \'Arts & Crafts\' appeal. This is a superbly made frame that will last for many years to come & will really suit a special picture.

Condition: In excellent condition, all joints solid - age commensurate wear, no major damages.

*N.B. All of my frames have some form of age commensurate wear, this is NOT a modern repro, so there will be slight imperfections the odd light scratch however as you will appreciate this is the essence of owning an antique picture frame. Please do refer to the detailed photographs, they are an accurate reflection of the very good antique condition. N.B. Each frame has been carefully stripped down of it\'s backing & cleaned professionally - the back of the frame (verso) is tidied of any loose backing & paper, nails, splinters, dust, glass, any other brasions have been meticulously removed so that the frame can be used immediately. After having being cleaned thoroughly the border is then (where necessary) treated with a high quality clear wax and buffed vigorously, this gives the wood a fresh lustre and sheen, making it in essence a completely restored frame .. This is a beautiful original piece from a bygone era, it is a frame that will grace any wall ..  Any questions please do ask ..
