This is an awesome old button! It is black horn, perhaps a mourning button. It is an imitation fabric needlework button with an imitation beadwork flower design. It has a back mark that says Paris and what looks like C & V Brevete .S.D.G.D. It measures about 1 1/4\", has a thread back shank and is a wow button in excellent condition on the front.
