A Fine and Exceedingly Rare Cast Plaster and Painted Pitcher,Exceptional Art Nouveau aesthetic in the manner of Goldscheider Ceramics, similar to the work of Bernard Bloch and Ernest Bussier.
All over high relief with bust of a woman with flowing hair, lily pods, bearded iris, and daffodil, the extraordinary handle in the shape of a twisted vine or branch. Painted to resemble bronze and patinated bronze with metallic highlights.
