Offered for sale, is this superb pair of antique solid silver (800/1000 fine) huge figural pheasant spice boxes. This fine pair, crafted in Hanau ca-1890 is masterfully cast and chased, The detailing is just amazing. They each measure approx. 16\" in length by 7 1/2\" in height. They are superbly crafted of solid silver with no added weighting, and weigh a very heavy 1056+ grams combined. They are each in excellent antique condition without any issues that I can see. There are no inscriptions or removals on these beauties. They are hallmarked as shown.
