The item consists of a stunning Antique Japanese patinated bronze Koro IncenseBurner having pierced cover with a superb three toed curling dancing dragon onthe lid and with Long Tongued Demon Head handles to the base; cast globe-shapedbody & face masks on tripod legs standing on domed base; raised reliefdesign of dragons, bird’s fruits flora and fauna.

The Incense Burner would date to the 19th century Japanese Meiji period.

Nicely cast, Incense Burner, composed and decorated with Long TonguedDemon handles and flying Dragon’s chasing the pearl on the sides.

The incense burner has some damage including a chip to the rim on thebase and one of the tongues is missing. There is also some movement and missshaping around the rim.

The Incense Burner measures 310mm tall and 140mm wide.
