Description
Item Description; Well I am having a clearout, my cupboards are bulging with 10 years of buying antiques!! This sale is for a pair of vintage Liberty, Art Nouveau, Ianthe patterned curtains. The fabric is stunning,originally designed as a wallpaper border in c.1902 by French designer R.Beauclair, reworked as a fabric design in 1967 by Liberty of London. The fabric is vintage, not sure of exact age, but the border is marked \'Liberty\' under the hem. The curtains are not lined. A large area of fabric, of many uses, if curtains not required. The pair each measure,76 & 1/2 inches in length by 50 inches across approx. Please note there is also a further curtain listed this week, in the same fabric, appears to be a door curtain. The condition is good, used order. There are a few marks in places, the odd small stain, small area of stitching to the hem which requires restitching. Please see photos. Overall good used order.
