A superb pair of High Art Nouveau Silvered bronze Candlesticks, dating from the early 1900 and deigned byGeorges De Feure. Each standing arpund 11 1/2 inches tall they are of sinuous organic form with a foliate base and tendril stem with pierced-work knop, supporting a bud like drip cup and candle holder. Both stick are in good structural condition, free of splits or repairs, there is just some slight distortion to the overall form and significant oxidisation to the silvered finish.
