A wonderful 5\" tall Under The Greenwood Tree teapot from Royal Doulton.It is portraying Robin Hood,Friar Tuck and Little John having a drink under the trees and enjoying each others company.On the opposite side is a bow and a quiver of arrows on the ground.The teapot comes to you in remarkably perfect condition,without faults and very slight crazing with the colors strong and crisp.On the top of the teapot are the names of the three men in a circle around the lid opening The base has the special backstamp for this series with the D3751 pattern number.A true collectors piece! I also have the matching oval tea tile for this teapot in another sale.
