A large Gan bronze amulet pendant composed of one disk, four serpent heads emanate from the disk., a tail extends from the disk.
Created by the old technique of lost wax, whereby a model is hand-shaped in beeswax. This model is cast in clay, molten metal is poured into the mold. After casting the mold is destroyed making each piece unique and an original.
Pure Gan style and workmanship - Collected in Burkina Faso.
