This is a beautifully carvedVintage Victorian Swami/Madras Silver Anglo-Indian Locket. The double-sidedlocket is carved with Indian deities on one side and has a spiraling link chainattached. The locket contains dark blue material under glass and a lock of hairon one side. The locket and chain are unmarked, weigh 56.9 grams, and both test as.925 sterling silver. The locketincluding bale measures approximately 2-1/8 inches long, 1-1/4 inches wide, and 11/16 inches deep. The chainis approximately 17 inches long. The locketcloses tightly and it and the chain are in very good vintage condition. (Seephotos).
