<img sweet,all original, 11 inch tall, Russian jointed, stockinette cloth doll, circa late 1920s, withcloth label: Made in Soviet Union, 8092 representing the peoplesofthe then recently formed USSR(Soviet Socialist Republic). This preciousdoll has tab-jointed arms and legs with bent knees (so she can sit easily) and charmingly formed hands with individually molded fingers and separate thumbs.She is made of firmly stuffed cotton twill fabric (stockinette head)without any wire armature and wears allher original provincial labeled clothing including alovely cotton aprontied over a long, light blueplaid printedcotton skirt and beige cotton shirt with longfullsleeves and charming dark burgundy vestwithdeep peplum andfine muslin undies, knit stockings and blackleather-like shoes. She also wears a lovely matching, redhead coveringover her long blond floss hair which is center parted and made into a long braid under her headpiece. She is in fair to good condition with no stains or odors, general wear to the stockinette covering her face, norepairs.(loc 18)Other Russian dolls shown arenot included and listed separately.We will also be listing a few wonderful, antique painted bisque, all original Russian dolls this month.
