Syroco Wall Clock Mid Century Gold West German Movement Ansonia Vintage Key For SaleVery Nice Large Gold Plastic Wall Clock. 25-1/2" long. Made in USA and movement made in West Germany. The face says 8 day. I wound it and it seems to work just fine. I did not check it for accuracy in time keeping. The Key is not original, but is a solid brass vintage Ansonia double barrel clock key that I found in the drawer of an abandoned desk on the side of the road. I couldn't believe my luck when it fit perfectly. The Key itself seems to be selling for an average of about $10. The glass cover is in great shape with no noticeable scratches. A little bit of the gold is rubbed off at the bottom, but is very small and subtle and does not detract. There are two holes in the back of the metal clock-works casing. They are marked + -, and F - S but they do not have any control mechanisms present. I do not know if these are missing or if they were never present. See pic #4. But as I said, the clock works and looks great.
So fancy and fun. Thanks for looking.

I was asked by a buyer to check the time accuracy of the clock. I wound the clock about 6 turns of the key until the mechanism felt snug. I ran the clock for about 7 and a half hours and checked the time. It seems to have lost about 5 minutes. Sorry for the short notice.
Thanks for looking.
