Here is a Type 44, 1862 Confederate $1.00 note dated June 2, 1862, Third Series, PF-3. CR-341, Rarity 4- with a vignette of Mrs. Lucy Persons, the wife of the Governor of South Carolina. This series of the T-44 notes were printed by B. Duncan out of Columbia, South Carolina. I would conservatively grade this example in Fine Condition. There is a half inch tear on the right side edge of the note due to folding throughout the years of circulation in the center. It still retains ink detail and it has a very nice cut for this specimen which was produced on thin quality paper. The serial number is 52016. This note is a nice example and would be a great addition to your collection.
