For sale is a replacement heat cap made especially for original Tiffany Studios, New York shades that require this size. The heat cap has a wonderful Tiffany style Verdi patina. The base metal is brass that was copper plated and a green patina applied. The heat cap stands 3 1/2\" tall and the inside diameter or slip fit is 5 3/16\". The outside diameter is 5 1/2\". If your neck on the ring outside measurement fits between 5\" to 5 3/16\" then this Teardrop heat cap will work.

The heat cap displays a wonderful and earthy Verdi green patina and it is what we call a teardrop shape. It was designed to fit 22\" Tiffany original and replica shades such as the Peony, Hanging Head Dragonfly and Laburnum as well as the 22\" geometric shades. If your raised neck on the ring on the top of the shade measures between 5\" to 5 3/16\" outside measurement then this Teardrop heat cap will work. You can also use this heat cap on other early manufacturers shades such as Wilkinson, Duffner & Kimberly, Unique, Bradley + Hubbard, Handel, Pairpoint, Miller, Pittsburgh as long as their opening is the same. This heat cap is designed to just slide over the raised lip in the aperture of the shade. I can modify it to be hard mounted if you need to for an additional charge.

The quality level is that of Tiffany Studios, New York quality. So if you have an original Tiffany shade that requires the use of this cap and have been unable to find an original look no further!! This looks exactly like the real deal! The Teardrop heat cap is in excellent condition as there are no dents or dings!
