A lovely antique English silver plated chatelaine; with seven silver plated and cut steel tools. With an ornate hook clipand unusual articulated square-link wide chain hanger, its belcher chain links terminate with dog clips and hold: a whistle; a bucket-shaped thimble holder; a 3-leaf aide-memoire notebook; a propelling pencil; a hinged stamp holder; pin cushion and a folding button hook.It dates from around1900, the cut steel tools slightly earlierand it\'sinvery good condition throughout, with one missing ring to the top chain and the pencil propels the lead but doesn\'t retract its body. It weighs167grams and measures12 inches at its longest. The final photo shows it with a US penny (1 cent) coinfor scale, which measures19mm/ ¾ of an inchdiameter.
