A lovely antique Italian gilt metal bracelet; beautifully made, with 3d chain-style links, an integrated box snap fastener and it\'s set with seven wonderful blue glass micromosaics, hand made to depict various Roman ruins/temples from in and around the Forum.This is typical of the type of jewellery brought back from their Grand Tours by the English gentry during high Victorian times. It dates from around1870/80 and isinvery good, fully wearablecondition with wear to the edge gilding, a few tiles missing here & there and one glass mount cracked (everything currently stable). It weighs30.9grams and measures7 inches wearable length, each link being around 1 x ¾ of an inch. The final photo shows it with a US penny (1 cent) coinfor scale, which measures19mm/ ¾ of an inchdiameter.
