This is a beautiful piece of antique furniture from the 1800\'s. It\'s in wonderful condition with solid and strong rush seating and a dark oak base. It\'s tall at 18\" and more of a bench size. It looks great wherever it sits be it in front of a fireplace or in a dining room against a wall for extra seating. Just a wonderfully versatile piece of furniture which is very well made. I see a few light markings to the wood and that\'s it. The wood base is solid and stable. There are 4 metal feet at the bottom of the legs to prevent scratching. I love the slightly bubbled patina to the antique varnish here.
