Hi! You\'re looking at an excellent condition book which is a classic novel by author and poet SYLVIA PLATH--the book is a VERY RARE and hard to find 1971 unstated FIRST EDITION and SECOND PRINTING U.S. Copy (it\'s NOT a book club edition) and a HARDCOVER with the ORIGINAL DUSTJACKET and is NOT a remainder copy and NOT price-clipped, with the original $6.95 price in the upper corner of the front inner flap.This book is in excellent condition and the cover itself has a very slight forward list of the spine end, a small abrasion on the bottom left edge of the back cover, and just light shelfwear otherwise; the book has a small owner\'s signature on the upper edge of the blank first page, an EXTREMELY slight musty scent but corresponding damage, and just very light evidence of gentle browsing--the dustjacket is protected by a mylar plastic sleeve but is NOT attached to the boards and the book is NOT a former library copy, and the dustjacket has a couple of small tears on the upper spine end, a slight tear on the bottom spine tip and just light shelfwear otherwise. The book is titledTheBell Jarand it was written by SYLVIA PLATH, with a biographical note by LOIS AMES and drawings by SYLVIA PLATH; it was published by Harper & Row, Publishers in 1971 and is an unstated 1st EDITION and 2nd PRINTING U.S. copy with a publication line reading 71 72 73 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2.
