THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN

An Original VintageTheatrical Movie Herald (measures 7\" x 9 3/4\" [18 x 25 cm] whenfolded; 3 pages)

The Bride of Frankenstein, the classic 1935 James Whale Universal monster horror thriller (\"The Monster Demands a Mate!\"; \"The monster thriller\"; the second of the Universal Frankenstein movies, and the only example I am aware of where a sequel is clearly superior to the original movie!; this is James Whale\'s masterpiece, and almost everyone agrees it is among the finest movies ever made, regardless of genre) starring Boris Karloff (as the Frankenstein monster), Colin Clive (as Dr. Henry Frankenstein), Valerie Hobson (as the bride of Dr. Frankenstein), O.P. Heggie, Ernest Thesiger (as Dr. Pretorius), John Carradine, Dwight Frye, Elsa Lanchester (in the title role as the bride of the Frankenstein monster, and also as Mary Shelley!), Una O\'Connor, and Gavin Gordon.

Important Added Info: Note that first release 1935 U.S. movie paper from this all-time classic is extremely rare and expensive. Yet this herald, which has great images on both sides, is surprisingly much more affordable than ANY other first release poster or lobby card on the film!

CONDITION-GOOD. The herald was foldedacross the middle.Someone pressed andflattened the herald, which made the extra fold less noticeable. There are several very small holes probably from insects such as silverfish, but only two are really noticeable, and they are not really noticeable when framed.someone wrote Panama and 1935/1936 on the back. These were American heralds which were sent to Spanish speaking countries. DISPLAYS BEAUTIFUL!

PLEASE CHECK OUT MYsales IN THE COMING WEEKS, I WILL BE LISTING MOVIE MEMORABILLIA, COMICS ANDOTHER COLLECTIBLES.
