Offered is an ORIGINAL, U.K. Vinyl movie lobby banner from Christopher Nolan\'s blockbuster 2008 film,THE DARK KNIGHTstarring Christian Bale, Heath Ledger, Michael Caine, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman and Eric Roberts. The sequel to Nolan\'sBatman Beginswas released by Warner Bros. Pictures in the Summer of 2008 and became one of the biggest hits for the studio, grossing over $1 billion worldwide.
This is a GORGEOUS banner. It\'s very colorful and features Heath Ledger\'s maniacal and Oscar-winning portrayal of the Joker! It has a very high gloss finish to it and, again is made of a durable VINYL material. The poster is a horizontal format and measures approximately 37 3/4\" x 58 1/2\". There are a total of six grommets, one in each of the four corners and two in the middle (please refer to photos) for displaying purposes. This original movie lobby banner was issued to theaters in the UNITED KINGDOM (please refer to photo #3 where the films website is mentioned). There are no imperfections that I can detect. Its in NEAR MINT/MINT condition. (The poster does have a \"waviness\" to it from being stored rolled for 10 years). However, this will ease and flatten if you choose to store it flat or display it.
As mentioned, the banner has been stored rolled for the last 10 years in a durable tube and comes from a smoke-free, climate controlled and pet-free home.
