Here we have a Very Beautiful Large Iridescent Hematite on Quartz Crystal Cluster. I have dug at this location well over 100 times and it is Rare to come across Quartz Crystal Specimens like this with such Brilliant and Intense Color Play.
This Fine Specimen was mined over 15 years ago.
It has Beautiful Spectacular Brilliant Natural Rainbow Colors all over it.
The color is very intense and looks so much better in person!!
The colors were hard to get in the pictures , but are Absolutely Amazing to see in person
This Fine Specimen is a Very High Quality Specimen from this World Famous Location.
Specimensfrom this mine this nice are very hard to find. Graves Mtn. has beenclosed for many years and the only specimens that are found are fromcollectors. Specimens like this one with such a Brillant Color are the most sought after.
GravesMountain became a famous mineral location in the 1800s and collectorsdug prospects around the area. Eventually it became a kyanite mine. Alarge main pit was dug in the heart of the mountain. Ultimately themine was shut down as other materials replaced kyanite in industrialusage and mining became less profitable.
There are over 30 different minerals from this location. The finest Iridescent Hematite in the world comes from this location.
ThisSpectacular Specimen measures 4 inches long , 2 1/2 incheswide and 2 1/4 inches tall.
