If you are a film collector please bookmark my sales, or add me as a favorite seller. I have purchased an estate collection of 150+ features films on 16mm including some very rare films and classics.

Up for sale is the 1964 film \"The Guns Of August\". This is a World War I documentary narrated by Fritz Weaver using archival footage. It is based on the Pulitzer Prize winning book by Barbara Tuchman. It is on two 13.5\" reels and 1 12\" reel and I believe that this is the full feature, however I don\'t have a projector to screen the film. (IMDB says the film is 1 hour 40 minutes long, so this should be the complete film.)

Regarding condition, there is no vinegar smell in the reels and they appear to be in good condition. Several repairs/splices are noted, especially on reel 1. The reels were kept together with duct tape and there is tape residue to the sides of the reels that needs to be cleaned off. I have been told by previous buyers that the residue comes off easily with FilmRenew. I offer a full refund minus postage($15) if you are unhappy. (Sorry the pictures are a bit blurry. It is tough to get good pics of the frames.)

I could find no other examples of a print of this film being sold. If you pass on this good luck finding another!
