This is The Sarajevo Haggadah with introductory text by Cecil Roth, published by Harcourt, Brace, and World. I have not been able to find a publication date noted in this wonderful book, but from my research, I believe it is 1975. It was printed in \"Beograd, Jugoslavija\" with illustrations printed in France, and text printed and bound in Yugoslavia.The Sarajevo Haggadahis a quite rare reproduction of a Jewish illustrated manuscriptcontaining the traditionaltext of the Passover Haggadah. It is theoldest Sephardic Haggadah in the world, coming from Spain around 1350.The original Sarajevo Haggadah was handwritten on bleached calfskin and illuminated in copper and gold. It begins with illustrations of Bible scenes from the Creation throughthe death of Moses. This exquisite book is considered to be the most beautiful illuminatedJewish manuscript as well as one of the most valuable books in the world.In 1991 the original was appraised at $700 million.

This gorgeous reproduction is in really exceptional shape. It is hardcover and comes with the dust jacket and box cover. Dust jacket has no rips, pages are tight, no creasing, no markings except for an embossed name at the bottom of the inside cover page. The box is cream, impressed with Made in Yugoslavia and does have some damage, particularly along bottom edge (see last photo).Otherwise, book itself is in phenomenal condition.
