THORENS TD 124 CLASSIC VINTAGE TURNTABLE RARE NEW IN BOX UNUSED INSPECTED ONLY INCLUDES MANUAL AND TEMPLATES. This is a rare find vintage Thorens TD 124 turntable that is new in the box unused serial # 29668. The turntable was only removed from the box for inspection and pictures. It was purchased from the original owner\'s son and the father purchased this turntable but then decided to purchase a stereo tube console instead so this turntable was unused. Per the advice from professional Thorens turntable restorers, this turntable was not tested and run because of the old lubrication. The turntable looks new on the exterior and the enamel and parts are in new condition. There maybe some slight aging of the turntable but it was kept packed in the box. The moving parts and underside parts look excellent and look new as they should. The Thorens TD 124 is a high quality vintage turntable and is highly prized by audio collectors. And an ultimate collector item is a new in the box unit which is extremely rare to find. This turntable does not come with a tonearm. The turntable includes the original black tonearm board new and uncut in a box. Also included is the original manual in excellent condition with one loose page in the middle, Mounting Template for Pickup Arm, and Mounting Template both in excellent condition. The turntable chassis is mounted in a cardboard packing base as original and all original packing is included except for a couple of the platter mounting separators. The packing and box are in very good condition with some normal moderate age wear. The outer box has some tape and some writing on the top. The box is solid but will be packed in an outer double wall box. If the next owner decides to put this turntable into use, it will need to be serviced and lubricated and some of the rubber parts may need replacing. The turntable is guaranteed for exterior condition per the description but is not guaranteed for operation since it was not tested. The turntable is sold as is with no return.
