TIFFANY & CO M CENTURY STERLING 169 PCE SERVICE 12 VERYGOOD COND FINE MONO

This is a very fine Tiffany & Co M Century 169 piece early sterling silver service for 12 withnumerous serving pieces.

All lengths are approximate for the following pieces ofwhich there are 12 each:

Knives (9 1/2”); luncheon knives (8 1/2”); dinner forks (73/4”); luncheon forks (7 1/8”); salad forks (6 7/8”); oval soup spoons (71/8”); teaspoons (6”); individual solid sterling butter knives (6 1/8”);bouillon/ consommé’ spoons (5 1/2”); iced tea spoons (7 5/8”); fruit spoons (57/8”) & ice cream sporks (5 ¾”). There are an additional 12 teaspoons.

There is an extensive range of serving pieces including: 2 servingspoons (8 ½”); a cold meat fork (8 5/8”); a sugar spoon (5 ¾”); a gravy ladle(7 ¾”); 2 large casserole or salad serving spoons (9 1/8”); a large asparagus/vegetable serving fork (9 5/8”); a dessert or pie server (9 7/8”) and a 4 piecesterling handle carving set with 2 knives (13 7/8” & 11 ¼”), a fork (105/8”) and a knife sharpener (13”).

This extensive estate set is in very good, lightly-usedcondition. There is some wear from handling including light scratching on thesterling. The table knives also show light scratching on the sterling (one hasa small dent in the handle) as well as some light scratches on the stainlessblades. The blades of the carving knives show heavy scratching.

The service has an old patina & has not been polishedrecently.

There is a set of Tiffany & Company labeled feltholders for the most of the pieces.

The set weighs approximately 245 troy ounces including anestimated value for the knife handles with stainless blades.

There is a fine elaborate monogram on each piece. There isno indication of any other monogram being removed.
