Description:
This is a beautiful vintage / antique 1949 gold tone Trifari choker necklace. The patent was granted on Jan 1949 to Alfred Philippe for Trifari, Krussman and Fishel, Inc. Each link is a heart with 2 round glue set rhinestones on top and a link connecting them in between. I believe all the rhinestones are original to the earrings. It has quality construction as with all Trifari jewelry of this period! This piece was featured in Julia C Carroll\'s book \'Collecting Costume Jewelry 202\' second edition on page 234. It has amazing sparkle that I wasn\'t able to capture with my camera! Great to add to your collection or wear!I have been collecting Trifari for years and am listing a lot of my better Trifari pieces from this time period - even more of this particular set!Size: Small at approximately 14 1/2 inches. Each link is about 3/4 inches tall
Markings: Signed \"TRIFARI\" \"PAT PEND\" on the back of the fold over clasp. I don\'t see a crown over the T but generally they used one in this time period
Closure: Fold over clasp
Condition: Near mint condition - I don\'t see anything wrong with this necklace! All rhinestones are present/ bright and sparkly and look original to the necklace - Actually amazing for jewelry that is 65 years old!
